Alex was featured on the January issue of Entrepreneur Magazine for his accomplishments in the crowdfunding industry. His writings about crowdfunding were published on major websites such as crowdsourcing.org and Crowdfund Insider. He educates government agencies like NYC Business Solutions and Small Business Development Center on Crowdfunding. He spoke on crowdfunding conferences, panels, and teaches workshops. Prior to CrowdsUnite, he worked for investment banks Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital. He holds an MBA from New York University.
Philip founded Magnolia Ventures in November 2009 and became the Managing Partner in January 2011. Prior to Magnolia, he was a Founding Partner and first employee at SecondMarket,Inc. – is the reinvented stock market, enabling companies to take control of their destiny and providing qualified investors with unique opportunities. Philip is the Chairman of CrowdHut and an Advisor to Fundable LLC. He was the Chairman of the SecondMarket’s Risk Management Committee and member of the UBS Financial Services Inc. / NFLPA Investment Advisor Committee.
Eric graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Operations Research and Information Engineering. He started working at CrowdsUnite as a data management intern and was later promoted to vice president. Eric is still responsible for handling most of the data on the website but also has his hands in other parts of the company as well, helping out with marketing and business development. As vice president, Eric is in charge of CrowdsUnite’s team of interns and leads educational classes in Alex’s absence.
Ivan is an expert in building large scalable websites from the ground up. In the past seven years he has worked on multiple projects involving big data and complex data analytics. He is an expert in web development especially back-end server utilizing the most modern development languages and methodologies.
Lewis is currently studying Computer Science at CUNY Hunter College. He has experience in design and implements both client and server-side code. He also develops web applications with interaction.
Stephen is a junior marketing management undergraduate at Baruch College. Stephen is an expert in making designs come to life and Game of Thrones. He currently leads design and works with Google Analytics to check user activity and use it as a tool to make CrowdsUnite.com easier to use.
